Use your sharp eye to seek words quickly. If you spell too many short words, burning tiles will appear on the board. To get rid of those fiery tiles use them in the words you spell out next. But, if they reach the bottom of the board, Lex’s library goes up in flames, and you lose. As you search for words in a grid, click on the letters to spell them out. Try to find as many words as you can that are longer than two letters. As you find correctly spelled words, the first letter in each word will start to solve the puzzle question on top, hangman style. It is best to find words that start with different letters. There are only a certain amount of turns, but there is opportunity for bonus turns by spelling out long words. You can also shuffle the grid of letters if you aren’t finding any more words. This game will help train your eyes and keep your concentration while fine tuning your spelling ability. Lastly, if you’re the type of gamer who can’t get enough of word games, you’ll probably love playing Pictowords and Bookworm Deluxe.

I am definitely a fan of words puzzles. Being able to use what you have learned and apply it to a challenging activity is gratifying, and even better when you learn things while playing the game. In Jig Words, you are giving a row of letters, you must try to figure out all of the words the random row of letters can create. It is a scrabble like game but you are playing the clock instead of an opponent. As you spell out more and more words with the letters, puzzle pieces fill in the screen showing you a neat picture to enjoy. In Letter Racing, you are playing against peoples timed challenges online. It still has the scrabble like game play, but now you have opponents to contend with. This game will keep you thinking the whole way through, and you might even learn some new words as well. The main objective in pretty much all businesses is about making money, and that is one of your main missions in Build-a-lot. The other goal is to create that perfect town. The one that everyone wishes they lived in. If you can manage to find the bonus word and you can automatically move on to the next level. The twist button  rearranges the scrambled letters to give your brain some more ideas to work with.

I won’t start out saying anything about boggling your mind, but I admit that the temptation to do so was strong. If Boggle sounds familiar, it IS the wildly popular board game from Hasbro. I’ve seen it at parties and usually when that happens, I’m outta there! Ok, group board gaming at parties is not my cup of tea but this version of Boggle is much more my style, and perhaps it’s yours, too. Shake the box which will then reveal all the available letters.
