For much too long, genetically modified grown food, and pollution from the ocean and environment caused a harmful impact on the natural food chain of Planet Terria. Terrians understood that eating flesh was fatal, so most of them survived on food they grew themselves. The other survivors on Planet Terria were several particularly resistant species of insects as well as some resistant forms of ocean creatures. All life except the Terrians were considered…very, very bad and they mutated in unusual ways and became stronger and more intelligent. As their new intellect grew, so did their appetite for planet domination. They now feel that Terrians are their Public Enemy Number One. So, they developed a secret army and are now ready to eradicate the Terrians with all of their mutant force. You and your ship Kaijin, must save the universe. Yes, again! Inspired by the classic arcade game, Galaga, play this shooter with Kaijin’s powers at your disposal. You must annihilate the baddy bugs with your lasers, fireballs, homing smart bombs and devices. Whether you were a fan of the arcade game, Galaga, or not, I’d be really surprised if you didn’t like Warblade. Yes, even gamers who love to play puzzles will get into Warblade. I say this with confidence because I play puzzles and normally do not like shooters. It’s different with Warblade, though. Based on the old Amiga game Galaga Deluxe, it’s actually the Galaga that you always wanted and more. The plot: with your trusty CryTech Delta fighter, your mission is to eradicate all evil aliens. It’s 100 levels of adrenaline pumping, fast-paced arcade action with ship upgrades, power-ups,  and new weapons. Every fourth level takes you to a shop to buy yourself even more power to destroy all enemies. Warblade is one of my top 20 favorite mac games. Later on, try another must-play arcade inspired shoot em up:  Kaijin, which also brings Galaga roots into its game play.

R.I.P. is back with more shooter action full of bloodshed and mayhem! Strike Back brings our favorite Heros (or anti heros) Death, Rock N Roll Guy, and Mr. Halloween back for more mac game shooter action. Start this game by choosing one of them, they all have unique abilities, then pick your experience level, and jump in to this action packed game. There are two modes, the first one is story mode, this includes 60 blood thirsty levels. As you work your way through a melee of levels, different power ups and equipment become available. You can find better guns and bombs, and even tanks and helicopters that will help you in your ravenous rampage. The second is Rush Mode, how long can you last as wave after wave of enemies keep attacking you. This sequel to R.I.P. is sure to get your shooter action thirst quenched.

R.I.P. is an action packed mac game that isn’t too serious but still full of fun. Start off this arcade shooter game by selecting you character, choose between Rock N Roll guy, Death, or Mr. Halloween. Once you picked you guy, choose between story or rush mode. In story mode defeat all of your enemies to pass the levels. As you advance in stages, more enemies keep coming, and it gets extremely hectic. Big explosions and tons of fire power is needed to continue this game. In Rush mode, it is all out shooter action. Your enemies keep coming and coming. This mode is great for some quick shooter action if you don’t have too much time. There are fun options in this game and you can choose between blood or flowers, so when you shoot your enemies, instead of blood, you see flowers. Have an awesome time with this adrenaline rush, action packed shooter game. Please be sure to try Swarm Gold for another edge-of-your-seat playing shooter for mac.

WOW! Jets N Guns is an action-packed game full of the obvious, Jets and Guns. This mac game starts off with a huge bang. Start your mission by buying some artillery and doing a little customization on your aircraft. Then it is straight to war. This action packed side scrolling game is intense. It is full of shooting action with huge explosions, tons of enemies, and fiery music. It is thoroughly entertaining fast paced for the shooter action fan. Playing this game really gets your heart pumping, it is that intense. This kind of game excitement takes mac game play to outer space, and your objective is to destroy the enemies before they destroy you. Your enemies are shooting and launching bombs so you need a sharp eye and a happy trigger finger. As you blow up their aircrafts, sometimes little space men come flying out. Get them too! This game is an all out shooting fest, not meant for small children. Jets N Guns is a fast-paced and highly energized game that is pumped full of adrenaline. You are dropped off on a far off planet and it is your goal to keep the planet from being overtaken by crazy aliens. Set up your base and defense to fight off persisting aliens that keep attacking your fort. Set up defense and guard towers around your base to protect it. This mac game gives you the power to control almost everything. You can speed up or slow down the play of the game, set your own boundaries, and create your own defense militia. Dive deep into your futuristic imagination as you defend the planet from being overtaken by aliens. This is a great and addicting game that takes your strategic knowledge and a big imagination to keep your base safe. Swarm Gold is a fast paced shooter action game fun for all. This game is action packed full of shooting fun and big explosions. Jump in the futuristic space craft and travel the galaxy to find enemies to destroy. Get major points by shooting your opponents, and exploring the area for free bonus points. The faster you are at taking control of the area, the faster you pass levels. There are tons of weapon upgrades and over 100 exciting levels to keep you excited for a long time. Like me, you couldn’t get enough of Star Defender 3, could you? That’s fine because you didn’t have to wait too long for the sequel to one of our favorite shooter games in outer space. Guess what? SD4 is here. So….. You want more? You get more with Star Defender 4. There are more missions, uglier aliens, nastier enemies and much better weapons so prepare yourself for the battles of your lifetime as they heat up the galaxy with a 100 levels, black holes, scary space crafts and creepy insects. Destroy them, Star Defender 4!

During a very important mission fighting against terrorist forces, fly your helicopter through enemy lines in this classic arcade-style scrolling shoot em up. Destroy as many of them as you can using your powerful and upgradeable machine guns or deadly missiles. Grab powerups to get ahead. You must not fail on this most vital mission.
