In order for her to offer this protection, each time Laura finds an artifact, a guardian angel or spirit puts her through a test to prove that she is worthy of having it. These tests are where the mini-games come into play. There are different kinds games to prove her worthiness thereby keeping good in and evil out, which include a pipe puzzle, a word game, a jigsaw puzzle, a gravity game, and brain teasers.
